@jayrosen_nyu @Karoli I think several of Facebook's moves over the past year show a strong case of Twitter envy. I find that very telling.

@tweetpea I think they picked active users in each city, and in Honolulu, there aren't many of us. I catch lots of duplicates and typos.

Is there something like @GowallaTools for @Foursquare? Spot fixes (duplicates, incorrect locations, etc.) are a lot harder than on @Gowalla.

@NctrnlBst Foursquare encourages "advance" check ins, so why not way in advance? I mostly check in "for real," now, but daydream sometimes!
